These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Website, the reservation of accommodation and services, and your use of the facilities operated by Galaxy Country Club & Hotel (“Galaxy Country Club & Hotel”, “the Hotel”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing this Website, making a reservation, or using any of our facilities or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use this Website or our services.

Galaxy Country Club & Hotel is a hospitality establishment providing accommodation, dining, conference facilities, event venues, leisure amenities, and related hospitality services.

- Reservations

- Check-in and Check-out
Unless otherwise stated:
- Check-in: From 2:00 PM
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
Guests must present valid government-issued identification during check-in.
- Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Respect Hotel staff, guests, and visitors.
- Maintain appropriate conduct at all times.
- Use Hotel facilities responsibly.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Follow reasonable instructions issued by Hotel management for safety and security.
- Refrain from activities that may disturb other guests or damage Hotel property.
Guests remain responsible for the conduct of all visitors accompanying them.
- Occupancy
Only registered guests may occupy guest rooms.
Maximum occupancy limits for each room type must be observed.
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry or require additional charges where occupancy limits are exceeded.
- Children
Children are welcome at Galaxy Country Club & Hotel.
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times, particularly within recreational facilities, swimming pools, parking areas, and other public spaces.
Additional bedding or cots are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Visitors
Visitors may be permitted in guest rooms subject to Hotel security procedures.
The Hotel reserves the right to request identification for visitors and may limit visitor access where necessary to protect the safety, privacy, and comfort of guests.
Overnight visitors who are not registered with the Hotel may not occupy guest rooms without prior approval.
- Smoking
Galaxy Country Club & Hotel is committed to providing a comfortable environment for all guests.
Smoking is permitted only within designated smoking areas.
Smoking in non-smoking rooms or prohibited areas may result in cleaning, restoration, or damage charges.
- Pets
Pets are not permitted unless expressly authorised by Hotel management.
Approved service animals shall be accommodated in accordance with applicable law.
- Damage to Property
Guests are financially responsible for any loss or damage caused to Hotel property arising from negligence, misuse, intentional acts, or the conduct of their visitors.
The Hotel reserves the right to recover reasonable repair, replacement, or cleaning costs.
- Hotel Facilities
Access to facilities including restaurants, conference rooms, swimming pools, fitness facilities, sports amenities, gardens, and event spaces may be subject to:
- Operating hours;
- Capacity limits;
- Maintenance schedules;
- Health and safety requirements; and
- Separate booking conditions.
Certain facilities may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or circumstances beyond the Hotel’s control.
- Events and Conferences
Separate agreements may apply to:
- Weddings;
- Conferences;
- Corporate events;
- Banquets;
- Private functions; and
- Group reservations.
Where separate agreements exist, those agreements shall prevail over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
- Lost Property
Items found on Hotel premises will be retained for a reasonable period.
Where ownership can reasonably be established, the Hotel may arrange return of the property at the owner’s expense.
The Hotel accepts no responsibility for unclaimed items after the applicable retention period.
- Parking
Parking facilities are provided for the convenience of guests.
Vehicles and their contents remain the responsibility of their owners.
The Hotel shall not be liable for loss or damage to vehicles except where required by applicable law.
- Security and CCTV
For the safety and security of guests, employees, and property, certain public areas may be monitored using CCTV.
CCTV recordings are managed in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Galaxy Country Club & Hotel shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from:

- Reservation services;
- Temporary interruption of services;
- Loss of personal property;
- Circumstances beyond the Hotel’s reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

Where reasonably possible, the Hotel may offer alternative dates, credit, or refunds at its discretion.

- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
The parties shall first seek to resolve any dispute arising under these Terms through good-faith negotiations.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Uganda, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
